Joint Programming With The Louis Stein Center For Law And Ethics,
Fordham University School Of Law, New York City

SUNSGLOW and Fordham Law have together embarked Upon joint programming for the purpose of intensifying Rule of Law training symposia especially in developing countries. The Louis Stein Center for Law and Ethics, whose Director, Professor Bruce A. Green, a member of our Board of Advisors, is the focal point of this new enterprise which is expected to benefit both entities.

For Fordham Law, there will be:

1. A substantial connectedness to a global operation which is fully operational and which is totally transparent, totally non-ideological, and totally non-political. Although SUNSGLOW is a private corporation, its mission is one of universal public service;

2. Direct access to the global judicial and legal communities, including law schools, especially in the developing word;
3. Inclusion of the faculty of Fordham Law as relevant and appropriate in SUNSGLOW programs;
4. Total freedom for Fordham Law to advertise its programs, activities, and resources at every SUNSGLOW symposium wherever it is held;
5. Availability of one summer internship to Fordham Law students at SUNSGLOW;
6. Possible magnet through advertising material for attracting top-ranking students to Fordham, Law;
7. Possibilities for Fordham Law students to attend our symposia overseas, thus having the opportunity of training in these global activities as well as of networking;

This joint programming formula will also yield the following benefits to SUNSGLOW:

1. Financial contributions paid to Fordham Law for SUNSGLOW joint programming will be tax-exempt,

2. Wherever possible, Fordham Law will add to the faculty of each joint program one or two members to be funded by Fordham;
3. A summer intern from Fordham to assist and be trained by SUNSGLOW, cost free, receiving credit from Fordham Law;
4. SUNSGLOW may hold events at Fordham is space is available.
In connection with this new relationship with Fordham Law, Dr, Yassin was made Fellow of the Louis Stein Center for law and Ethics at Fordham Law – a pro bono position.
